IADPSG 1-Step (75g OGTT): Fasting ≥92, 1h ≥180, 2h ≥153 mg/dL (≥1 required)Clinical Pearls
Diagnoses gestational diabetes to guide dietary and insulin therapy, preventing fetal macrosomia, shoulder dystocia, preeclampsia, and neonatal hypoglycemia.
Limitations
Test should be preceded by at least 3 days of unrestricted carbohydrate diet (> 150g/day) and an overnight fast of 8 to 14 hours.
